Direct sequence spread spectrum (DSSS) is used to expand the spectrum of the signal directly at the transmitter side with high bit rate spread spectrum code sequence. At the receiver, the same spread spectrum sequence is used to despread, and the spread spread spectrum signal is restored to original information.
