Title:
Image-Processing-on-2D-Graphs-and-Models Download
Description: In the two applications of this study, images of a 2D object have been taken by a digital
camera in order to obtain the surface data. In the other applications digital image and images
taken from scanner have been used. These raster images’ borderlines and borderline pixels’
coordinates in the coordinate system (x,y) were obtained by a program that has been written
in MATLAB software. Next step was obtaining the 2D objects computer model using the
MASTERCAM software. Raster images were transformed to the ArtCAM Insignia Demo
software, and vectorized. The computer model obtained with this method has been compared
with the real dimension of the object. Advantages and disadvantages of this method were
examined.
In conclusion, this method can be used in obtaining the computer model, borderlines and
dimensions of 2D objects
