This paper describes a fingerprint recognition algorithm technologies, including part of MATLAB simulation and DSP algorithms to achieve part of, and focus on the pre-processing algorithm of fingerprint image normalization, image enhancement filter, image segmentation, binarization, refining and other key technologies. In this paper, the Gabor filtering algorithm to improve at the same time some of the other pre-processing algorithm optimization, and Fourier analysis method has been applied to study of fingerprint image processing using MATLAB realized all the algorithms discussed in this paper.
