Describes the DDS (direct digital frequency synthesis) basic principles, proposed to DDS chip AD9850 as the core, supplemented by the use of microcomputer control of the peripheral circuits necessary to form an output waveform stability and high precision signal generator. The signal generator can generate the main adjustable amplitude and frequency of sine, square and triangular wave. Experimental results show that the hardware circuit structure is simple, the output signal frequency stability of better than 10- 3, amplitude error is less than 5 .
