We made a system that can measure temperature and give an alarm. You can input two numbers as alarms. If the temperature that the system measure is proper, the green light will work. If the temperature is not proper, the red light will work and the speaker will work. This system can be used where temperature is important to avoid accident like factory, hospital and so on. In this system, we use the Microchip corp.--PIC16F877 as the microcontroller. The design includes the drive of a lcd device ,the drive of a 4×4 keyboard ,the drive of the high precision digital thermometer DS18b20. We also used some light emitting diodes and drove a loudspeaker.
