虽然 Google 发布了 Android 4.0，不过在 2012，貌似对 Android 平板电脑也无多大益处，ICS 不是为了修复之前的问题，而是为了区分 Android 智能手机及与平板电脑的用户体验。ZCNet 的 Jason Perlow 曾经在 Xoom 上测试过 ICS，结果 ICS 不能解决 Android 平板电脑的根本性瑕疵。
