The VS1003 is a the monolithic MP3/WMA/MIDI audio decoder and ADPCM encoder. It contains a high-performance, independent property rights, low-power DSP processor core VS_DSP4 working data memory, the 5KB instruction RAM and 0.5KB of data RAM for user applications. Serial control and data interface, four general-purpose I/O port, a UART, a high-quality variable sampling rate ADC and stereo DAC, as well as a headphone amplifier and a ground buffer.
