Conventional induction motor direct torque control multiple uses hexagonal flux control or six intervals round flux control, likely to cause the torque and flux ripple is too large, in fact, with limited scope. For this defect, we use the vector segmentation method, the traditional six voltage vectors and six sectors subdivided into twelve voltage vector and twelve sectors, the development of the corresponding vector switching table, and through its MATLAB a simulation experiment. Simulation results show that vector-based segmentation of Induction Motor Direct Torque Control can effectively improve the flux trajectory, reducing the torque ripple and improve the system control performance.
