First introduced to the micro-grid distributed generation from the development process, through a typical micro-grid structure and characteristics of the micro-grid concept has been explained in detail. Secondly, micro-grid overview summarizes the research progress and development in some developed countries, and refining key questions arise related research status and stage of microgrid research. Finally, energy development strategy and the status quo of China' s electricity, and the development potential of the micro-grid application form in China were discussed.
