Gabor filter is a linear filter for edge detection. Gabor transform is a short-time Fourier transform method, and its essence is to add a window function in the Fourier transform, to achieve through the window function frequency analysis. When you select a Gaussian function as a window function, short-time Fourier transform is called Gabor transform.
