The full name of OpenCV is: Open Source Computer Vision Library. OpenCV is based on a (Kai Yuan) issued a cross platform computer vision library, can be run on Linux, Windows and Mac OS operating system. It is lightweight and efficient composed of a series of C function and a small amount of C++, and provides Python, Ruby, MATLAB language interface, the realization of many common algorithms of image processing and computer vision.
