1.1 scope. Some specific requirements for aluminium alloy of these six types are illustrated including and two current formed alumina gel sheet anode electroplating and non of the building
The 1.2 category: a number of specific issues of form and classification of anodic oxidation coatings is also shown here (see 6.2 and 6.21)
1.2.1 type
TYPE I - containing trivalent chromic acid anodized, conventional film is abstracted chromate.
TYPE IB- containing trivalent chromic acid anodized, low voltage operation 22+ 2V (see 3.4.1)
TYPE IC - non trivalent chromium plating anode, non chromate used as a conversion of TYPE I and IB coatings (see 3.4.1 and 6.1.2)
TYPEII sulfuric acid anodizing. The conventional coating is extracted sulfuric acid
TYPEIII thin sulfuric acid anodized, used as a non chromate conversion coating of TYPE I and IB.
TYPEIII - hard anodic oxidation coating.
1.2.2 classification.
Category 1 non staining (see 3.5)
Category 2 staining (s
