Abstract: Established the simulation model for PMSM (permanent magnet synchronous motor) vector control system and the model of FUZZY-pid controller based on FUZZY self-tuning PID control algorithm in the environment of MATLAB 7/Simulink .Simulated the position control and the case of sudden load of PMSM. The simulated results were compared with that of PMSM vector control based on conventional PID, which indicated that the performance of PMSM vector control system by FUZZY self-tuning PID control algo rithm is obviously better than that by conventional PID control algorithm.
