Gait recognition is defined to identify the identity of the person as the way peoplewalk and kinetic characteristics.It includes moving target detection,featureextraction ,classification and recognition.Based on the study of the various of gaitrecognition algorithms, main research about the key stage- feature extraction has beendone and a new algorithm has been proposed in this paper.
