In this paper, a line detection algorithm, which is based on direction filter and regional growth, is proposed for line detection problem in a specific angle. Our algorithm is better than the state-of-the-art algorithm in the detection of the specific direction of the line, which have a higher detection rate, less error and missing detection, lower computational complexity, higher efficiency of the algorithm and be better anti-interference ability.
