We propose a localization Algorithm which uses phase difference change rate as observation quantity in this paper. UKF filtering is utilized to approach the position of target step by step. The problem of convergence speed and localization precision is solved efficiently. The method eliminates the effect of fixed bias in phase difference to localization precision. UKF filtering method used here eliminates Jacobian matrix calculation for measurement equation , simplifying filtering operation. The localization process is implemented easily by using this method , thereby the operation speed of localization filtering is increased.
