The standard of satellite mobile communication released by 3GPP is still in the 3G stage. Research on satellite LTE series standards, such as communication protocols and flows It often uses network simulation. The LTE simulation model LENA in the EPS system and the open source network simulation tool NS 3 is briefly introduced. The difference between the LENA model and the real LTE system is emphatically discussed.
