LTC1446 is A A/D converter with 12 successive approximations. The internal includes system clock, sampling and maintenance, 12 A/D converters, data registers, and control logic circuits. LTC1446 repeats "input -- transform -- output" every 25 us. The device has two control inputs: DIN CLK and TAB (CS). Internal system clock and DIN CLK can be used independently. The design of an application circuit simply USES the clock to start the transform or read the transformation results. When CS is high current, Dout is in high impedance and DIN clock is forbidden.
