The proposed method performs certain preprocessing steps on the gray-scale of the input image to enhance image quality. The blood vessels are highlighted using by using contrast enhancement and average filter. The blood vessel in image is finally detected using coye filter. The performance of the proposed method was uated. The results confirm that the proposed method detects blood vessels quite efficiently and accurately.
