Description: I send midi songs through the Soundblaster player to a music workstation
and had some problems with some midi files. Some files played only few
voices even if the midi file contained full orchestral song.
I found that these midi files contained many tracks that did not play
something but contained text information about the author or advertisement.
My player seems to limit the number of tracks to the first 16 tracks.
That was very bad because many of the tracks were empty and other
important tracks were not played.
(Critics to Creative Labs: Why didn t you ignore short tracks that only
contain text information?)
First I used midi2txt and txt2midi converters to manually move
the comment tracks to the end of the midi file.
Then I had the idea to implement a simple program that can do that
and added some other track sorting features.

At long last I have finally made what I have wanted to make for so long. Being new to the coding world, this media player (which I call MediaShow ) is my first working software. It is based on the famous DirectShow multimedia API from Microsoft.
DirectShow divides the processing of multimedia tasks such as video playback into a set of steps known as filters. Each filter represents a stage in the processing of the data. Filters have a number of input and output pins which connect them together. The generic design of the connection mechanism means that filters can be connected in many different ways for different tasks to build a filter graph.
It is possible to make custom filters which can be used to play a variety of media file formats clearly displaying the power of DirectShow API. But the complexity for customization and making filters from scratch makes the use of this API rather difficult.

The Wiimote is one of the most interactive gaming remotes I have put my hands on. After snooping around the net it turned out that using Bluetooth and the wiimote library, you can connect the wii to your PC as an HID and send/receive messages from and to the wiimote. In this project, we will connect the wiimote and then take control of the Windows Media Player, so the wiimote is going to be controlling the Windows Media Player (WMP) as a simple Bluetooth remote.
