Description: VoIP(voice over IP) 就是通过IP 网络承载语音业务,也称IP 网络电话。当网络出现拥塞或传输差错时,语音包就会产生时延、抖动甚至丢失,导致语音不连续或中断,-VoIP (voice over IP) through the IP network to carry voice traffic. also known as IP telephone network. When the network is expected to congestion or transmission errors, the packet will have a voice delay, jitter or loss, voice not lead to continuous or interrupted,

[Program docfullSim

Description: This a simulator written in Tcl to simulate a network node carrying GSM and GPRS traffics with QoS mechanisms. The payload type including circuit-switched voice, VoIP and web traffic, and the performance including packet drop, delay can be analyzed. The implemented QoS mechanism is DiffServ, with 4 RED queues for different services with different priorities.-This is a simulator written in Tcl to simulate a network node carrying GSM and GPRS traffics with QoS mechanisms. [OtherHandbook_for_Successful_VoIP_Deployment

Description: Deploying Voice over IP (VoIP) successfully in a data network has some unexpected pitfalls. In previous papers, we’ve explored how to do a Voice Readiness Assessment [1] and looked at focused planning and design tips [2,3]. This paper describes changes you can make to improve how a data network handles VoIP traffic – that is, how you can reduce one-way delay, jitter, and data loss for VoIP traffic, while retaining the performance of your other business-critical network applications.

Description: VoIP enables a Cisco 3600 series router to carry voice traffic (for example, telephone calls and faxes) over an IP network. Voice over IP is primarily a software feature however, to use this feature on a Cisco 3600 series router, you must install a voice network module (VNM). TheVNMcan hold either two or four voice interface cards (VICs), each of which is specific to a particular signaling type associated with a voice port. -VoIP enables a Cisco 3600 series router to carry voice traffic (for example, telephone calls and faxes) over an IP network. [Internet-NetworkMausezahn-0.40

Description: Mausezahn 是一个采用C开发的快速的网络包生成工具。让您发送几乎一切可能的和不可能的数据包。它主要用于测试VoIP或组播的网络,但也为安全审计,以检查是否你的系统是强化具体的攻击不够。-Mausezahn is a free fast traffic generator written in C which allows you to send nearly every possible and impossible packet. It is mainly used to test VoIP or multicast networks but also for security audits to check whether your systems are hardened enough for specific attacks. Mausezahn can be used for example: As traffic generator (e. g. to stress multicast networks) To precisely measure jitter (delay variations) between two hosts (e. g. for VoIP-SLA verification) As didactical tool during a datacom lecture or for lab exercises For penetration testing of firewalls and IDS For DoS attacks on networks (for audit purposes of course) To find bugs in network software or appliances For reconnaissance attacks using ping sweeps and port scans To test network behaviour under strange circumstances (stress test, malformed packets, ...)
