普罗基斯博士在Cincinnati大学获得学士学位(BSEE),在MIT获得硕士学位(MSEE)在哈佛大学获得工程领域博士学位。他的专业方向和研究兴趣主要是数字通信和数字信号处理,在这些领域里他已发表了许多论文并出版了多本著作。
