it gives a cool look on file addresses and also tracks each download if somebody includes a tracker. basically if someone includes an ip logger into the head, every download can be tracked via IP. It s also more than that. download url looks like the following example:

When removing ? from url, it doesn t give download headers, it just outputs the file as a text.
