Description: We compare the energy efficiency of some transmission
schemes in wireless sensor networks. By constraining
the system to end-to-end throughput requirements, we assume
that the nodes in multi-hop and cooperative schemes operate
at a spectral efficiency which is twice that of the single-hop
transmission. By taking into account the energy consumption of
the RF circuitry, we show that cooperation may be considerably
more energy efficient than non-cooperative schemes even in small
transmission ranges, specially if a feedback channel is available.

Description: The main aim of the project is to design and develop a touch screen interface to the ARM processor using the wireless technology, such that when the user touches the touch screen, the required graphical display will be displayed on the screen.
As shown in the block diagram above, the touch screen is connected to the touch screen controller, which has to be programmed to read the touch values in the real time environment. This touch data is then encoded and sent through the RF TX. At the other end the RF RX will be decoded and the same is then sent to the ARM processor, we will design the ARM kit and will not use the ready made ones. This is then connected to the graphical LCD. The ARM stores some predefined images, on the touch data received by the ARM, the assigned image will be displayed on the graphical LCD.

semantics and users expectations so as to communicate faithful
results in terms of accuracy, Relevance Feedback (RF) was

him/her the opportunity to specify a degree of relevance (user’s
feedbacks) , the system creates a new query that better captures
the user s needs, hence raising the opportunity to get more

In this paper, we have focused on CBIR and basic concepts
pertaining to it, as well as Relevance Feedback and its various
mechanisms. An important contribution in this work is a
comparative analysis of CBIR systems using reference feedback:
major models and approaches are discussed in detail from early
heuristic methods to recently optimal learning algorithms, with
