Description: Log-domain fi lters are an intriguing form of externally linear, internally nonlinear current-mode circuits,
in which a compression stage is fi rst used to convert the input currents to the logarithmic domain,
then analogue processing is carried out on the resulting voltages, and fi nally input–output linearity is
restored by mapping the output voltages to current form through an expansion stage. The compressing
and expanding operations confer on log-domain fi lters a number of desirable features, but they may be
responsible for the loss of external linearity. In this paper, suffi cient conditions for the external linearity
of log-domain LC-ladders are established, and the local nature of this external linearity is highlighted.
Certain log-domain LC-ladders employing fl oating capacitors may exhibit externally nonlinear behaviour
even for zero input and very small initial conditions. We show how transistor parasitic capacitances are

把网络进行划分，各个分区相同或不同的服务能力，但是它们有不相的价格。因此相对价格较高的服务分区由于选择的人比较少而负载轻，因而有较少的时延。由于不同服务有不同的QoS要求，如网络视频，电话需要较高的带宽要求，所以必需选用价格较高的网络分区才能满足需要，而像下载，网页浏览对QoS的要求相对较低，因此可以选用价格较低的网络分区。其主要原理把是把网络时延作为网络一种内在的价值。其应用的基础在于其本身的简单性，易于实现。
-Abstract—Paris Metro Pricing (PMP) is a simple multi-class
fl at-rate pricing scheme already practiced by transport systems,
specifi cally by the Paris Metro at one time. The name is coined
after Andrew Odlyzko proposed it for the Internet as a simple
way to provide differentiated services. Subsequently, there were
several analytical studies of this promising idea. The central issue
of these studies is whether PMP is viable, namely, whether it
will produce more profi t for the service provider, or whether it
will achieve more social welfare. The previous studies considered
similar models, but arrived at different conclusions. In this
paper, we point out that the key is how the users react to
the congestion externality of the underlying system. We derive
suffi cient conditions of congestion functions that can guarantee
the viability of PMP, and provide the relevant physical meanings
of these conditions.

cluster synchronization in dynamical multi-agent systems. In
contrast to the widely studied synchronization behavior, where
all the coupled agents converge to the same value asymptot-
ically, in the cluster synchronization problem studied in this
paper, we require that all the interconnected agents to evolve
into several clusters and each agent only to synchronize within
its cluster. The fi rst approach is to add a constant forcing to
the dynamics of each agent that are determined by positive
diffusive couplings and the other is to introduce both positive
and negative couplings between the agents. Some suffi cient and/
or necessary conditions are constructed to guarantee n-cluster
synchronization behavior. Simulation results are presented to
illustrate the effectiveness of the theoretical analysis.

Description: The paper presents an in situ parameter estimation method to determine the equivalent circuit parameters of the three-winding
transformer (TWT). The suggested method also estimates geometrically a complex parameter that is mutual leakage between
secondary and tertiary windings, which would be useful in transient studies. Beside the saturation effect of the transformer is taken
into account by estimating a highly nonlinear parameter that is magnetizing circuit reactance. Different search based optimization
tools are applied for parameter estimation among which the results obtained using genetic algorithm is found to be encouraging.
Load test data at one particular operating point namely supply voltage, load currents, input power, and load impedance is suffi cient
to estimate the parameters.
