The Virtual Wave Driver package contain a Windows multimedia driver and a ActiveX DLL. It allowing you to capture/send audio (wave) streams from/to any application. It creates a Wave In/Out devices in your system.
You can use VWD to "thief" an output sound stream from the application that doesn t allow to write it into WAV file directly. Any application can send audio stream to our virtual Wave/Out device, and audio stream can be captured in our ActiveX. So you can further process the captured audio stream. While streaming, VWD can also transfer the stream to the real sound card. All transfers are made digitally, providing NO sound quality loss
