移动通信基本知识
随着社会的进步、经济和科技的发展，特别是计算机、程控交换、数字通信的发展，近些年来，移动通信系统以其显著的特点和优越性能得以迅猛发展，应用在社会的各个方面，到目前为止，全球移动用户超过 1亿 ，预计到本世纪末用户数将达到2亿。无线通信的发展潜力大于有线通信的发展，它不仅仅提供普通的电话业务功能，并能提供或即将提供丰富的多种业务，满足用户的需求。
移动通信的主要目的是实现任何时间、任何地点和任何通信对象之间的通信。
从通信网的角度看，移动网可以看成是有线通信网的延伸，它由无线和有线两部分组成。无线部分提供用户终端的接入，利用有限的频率资源在空中可靠地传送话音和数据；有线部分完成网络功能，包括交换、用户管理、漫游、鉴权等，构成公众陆地移动通信网PLMN。从陆地移动通信的具体实现形式来分主要有模拟移动通信和数字移动通信这两部种。
移动通信系统从40年代发展至今，根据其发展历程和发展方向，可以划分为三个阶段：
