Description: Serial communication experiments. In the Linux operating system on the bottom end of the treatment is a very complex process, need to deal with many different types of equipment (including modems, terminal emulation, pseudo-terminals, etc.). Linux system processing terminal is connected through a serial interface, communication with the system console and run the program. As more and more vendors are involved in the production of the terminal, and each vendor is for their own terminal design their own command set, so the need for a way to generalize to the end of the visit was handled. Linux systems use a terminfo capability database to describe the capacity of each terminal as well as the method call these functions.
