Description: One of the key problems of Performance-Based Seismic Design (PBSD) is how to quantify the performace objectives. Seismic damage model is an important tool for calibrating the degree of damage of structures under earthquake in PBSD. Reinforced concrete material is a kind of engineering material that has obvious characteristics of damage accumulating. Development and accumulation of damage is the essential inducement of failure of reinforced concrete members and structures. Therefore, it is necessary to research on the seismic damage models of reinforced concrete structures.
