Description: The lightweight Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) flight operations are limited, especially in
the UAV range or action radius and endurance, by the mission essential communication link
capabilities. Presented paper addresses the multiple-fold problem of compromising in a set of
mission requirements, the UAV performance parameters, and a mission task feasibility thus
compromising between the communication load defined by a mission task, communication
link transmitting power requirements, power availability on-board UAV as a weight restricted
parameter, and the UAV action radius.
