Behind the Scenes Math
cp2tform() uses matrix mathematics to perform its tranformation. For an ‘affine’ transformation, as was the case in this project, the parametric motion can be described by the following formulas:
u(x,y) = a1x + a2y + a3
v(x,y) = a4x + a5y + a6
