Open project properties (Project > Properties[Alt + F7])
Navigate to: Configuration Properties > Linker > General
Add additional library Directories.
These are the directories the linker needs to look for the .lib files.
Separate with semicolon.
Navigate to: Configuration Properties > Linker > Input
Add additional Dependencies.
These are the .lib files containing the symbols (function names) your project needs.
Separate with space.
