Description: As some of the traditional method of distance measurement insuperable flaw in some special occasions, the use of ultrasonic distance measurement can resolve these issues. Based on this, this article describes a ultrasonic distance measurement system which is compose of a single-chip processor as the core, by infrared remote control signal receiver integrated circuit, temperature sensors, and other integration.By temperature sensor to measure the ambient temperature of the system, this system concluded the temperature speed of propagation of sound waves in air, based on the ultrasonic reflection from launch to encounter obstacles to the receiving end of time, to calculate the test distance.The system debug and the results of test meet the design requirements. Results showed that this system has a low cost, high precision, reliable, easy to implement and so on advantages.
