Description: Can use wireless-tools or wpa_supplicant tool to configure the wireless network. Please remember that the important point is that the configuration of the wireless network is a global, rather than the specific interface. wpa_supplicant is a better choice, but the drawback is that it does not support all drivers. In addition, the wpa_supplicant currently only connect to the wireless network you have configured ESSID. wireless-tools supports nearly all the wireless card and driver, but it can not connect to those that only support WPA AP. Compiled the wpa_supplicant source code you can see two main executable tool: wpa_supplicant and wpa_cli. wpa_supplicant is the core program, and wpa_cli relationship is the relationship between service and client: running in the background wpa_supplicant, use wpa_cli to search, settings, and connect to the network.
