Description: This function calculates displacement response at interfaces of an elastic multilayered medium to a vertically propagating unitary SV or SH elastic wave. The function can be used to calculate the displacement response in a layered soil profile. Transfer functions between interfaces can be easily calculated by division of the total (=upward+downward) displacement response on the corresponding interfaces.
