Description: This paper describes a PDA-based mobile system of workpiece data inquiring and acquisition that can process data by calling the Web Service. The system is practically tested and verified in a MES project, the result shows that it can provide the effective product information through scanning bar code, and improve the rapid reaction capability and work efficiency greatly
