Description: a new automatic target detection (ATD) algorithm to detect targets such as military targets, vehicle detection, oil storeroom detection. This algorithm uses concentric circles to extract features of object and the features are quasi invariant to target translations, rotations and scaling. From this it is effective to detect targets in the real – time applications.
