Sparse representation is one of the last few years the hot field of signal processing, in simple terms, it is actually a process of decomposition of the original signal, the decomposition process by means of a prior dictionary (which was also called the over-complete base, overcomplete basis , will be introduced to later), the input signal is expressed as a linear approximation process of the dictionary.
