Description: Synchronous dc motors (SDCMs) have certain
advantages over the ac motors however, like the production
of ac motors (ACMs), their mass production
entails considerable costs. This article is devoted to the
possibility of creating SDCMs based on ACMs that
enable one to develop a new type of frequency-regulated
motor without the complete preparation of new
production.
