 Description: EMTP-RV software package uses object-oriented programming mode and consists of three parts: EMTP-RV core data processing engine, EMTPWorks graphical editing interface and CopeView visual data processing program. EMTP-RV's engineering file (Design) consists of sub circuits (Subcircuit) that support infinite nested hierarchies. The interconnection of components constitutes a sub circuit. The components of EMTP-RV are divided into three types: built-in components, built-in packaging components and user defined components. EMTP-RV supports scripted programming operations and can change component data or properties using JavaScript or the "Report Script Language" scripting language. When EMTP-RV solves differential equations for time-domain electromagnetic transient simulation, steady-state power flow can be selected to obtain a better simulation starting point.
