Lightweight File-Sharing Service - a lightweight, peer-to-peer file-sharing service –LFSS. not use any existing toolkits or platforms for constructing peer-to-peer system. perform the following functions: a. List files held locally with the date of insertion or creation of the copy b. Search for files in the peer-to-peer network, i.e. locate files at peers c. Fetch files from the peer-to-peer network, i.e. make a local copy d. Insert files into the peer-to-peer network, i.e. upload a new file e.
