Claytronics,This introduces a new and yet to be properly explored branch of technology, The Programmable Matter. Programmable Matter is a technology that enables us to control and manipulate 3‐dimensional physical artifacts. It is a method which brings the dream of synthetic reality closer to reality. This technology has reached a point where we can realistically build a programmable matter system which is guided by design principles which will allow it to ultimately scale to millions of sub‐millimetre catoms.
