This article describes the combination of a high performance AVR microcontroller Atmega128 with serial communication stepper motor control system. The system consists of the host computer (PC), the next-bit machine (SCM) and stepper motor consists of three parts, the upper and lower computer through the serial port interaction data. Eventual realization of a stepper motor controlled by a PC directly. The debugging results indicate that the design of the control circuit and the program is simple, practical, and has a convenient interactive interface.
