In this paper, a method combining fuzzy logic and sliding mode controller is proposed for the robust control of power system Single-Machine Infinite-Bus (SMIB). The aim of this study is to overcome some shortcoming of conventional power system stabilizer (CPSS), fuzzy logic power system stabilizer (FPSS) and sliding mode controllers (SMC).
