This the controller of the personal project I2C bus. I2C bus has a good package of four basic operations (to write a single byte, multi-byte write and read single-byte and multi-byte read). In this resource which includes design documentation and write their own use, as well as Verilog source code. Xilinx development board through this process to download and verify there is no problem.
