Simple and transparent in the vast majority of OpenGL effects are related to certain types of (color) Mixed relevant. Blending is defined as to a pixel color and has drawn on the screen with its corresponding pixel color combination. As for how to combine these two colors is dependent on the alpha color channel sub-money, and/or used in blending function. Alpha color value is usually located at the end of the first component composed of four colors.
