Description: The complex exponential method is based on the free vibration response of the structure or the impulse response function can be expressed as the complex exponential function and the form of the complex exponential, and then the unknown parameters are determined by the linear method. Its main ideas from the vibration differential equation, based upon the principle of modal superposition method to establish the relationship between the dynamic response and the modal parameters expression, through the study of the fitting of impulse response function can be completely modal parameters, obtained a good fitting effect. The basic method is to include the frequency to be recognized in the Z transform factor, to construct the Prony polynomial, so that the zero point is equal to the value of the Z transformation factor. In this way, the Z transformation factor is transformed to solve the coefficient of Prony polynomials. In this paper, we give a MATLAB program to solve the coefficients of Prony polynomials with matrix.
