Description: Electrically erasable programmable read-only memory EEPROM can be divided into two major categories of parallel and serial. EEPROM read and write data in parallel through the 8-bit data bus transmission, while the serial EEPROM data transmission is a one. Although compared with the parallel EEPROM, serial transmission of data slower, but it is small, dedicated I/O port less cheap, simple circuit, it is widely used in intelligent instruments, instrumentation equipment.
