Description: A active-mover-passive-stator structure of linear switched reluctance motor(LSRM) is proposed.The motor has the characteristics of simple structure and mechanical robustness.The mechanical design procedure and optimization is described and finite element analysis(FEA) verifies the features of the motor such as zero inductance between each phase,so that they can be controlled individually.A DSP-based position control scheme is proposed last and experiment results show the motor s good performance under
