Description: The cdma2000-UV Simulator estimates the performance of data transmissions at the physical layer
of the mobile communications technology cdma2000 1X. These wireless data transmissions enable
the communication between mobile stations (e.g., cellular phones, PDAs, laptops) and base
stations (i.e., the communication systems that provide network access to the final user). Examples
of these transmissions include voice, e-mails, and text messages. The simulation results are
calculated according to the simulation parameters set by the user. For example, the user may set a
non-moving mobile station in an indoor environment or a moving mobile station in a vehicular
environment. With the results obtained with the simulator, the user can perform different analyses
such as the degradation in system performance due to an increase of the number of mobile stations
or the effects of multipath channels on CDMA transmissions. Also, the cdma2000-UV Simulator
